Introduction

Mogwadiri Hunting Safaris, is a privately owned and family operated undertaking, and is situated a mere 15 km outside Outjo, Namibia.  Outjo is generally known as the gateway to Etosha and lies on the crossroads leading north to the Etosha National Game Park and its abundance of game, westward to Khorixas and the Petrified Forest, and north-east to Tsumeb and Lake Otjikoto.

Mogwadiri Hunting Safaris was established in 2012 by Nicolaas van Zyl. Nicolaas, is a qualified tour guide, bow-hunting guide and professional hunter, with twenty years hands-on experience, specifically in the field of plains game hunting in various locations throughout Namibia.

Nicolaas has already guided hunters as far abroad and diverse as Spain, Russia, Denmark, Sweden, Netherland, the UK, Germany, USA, Italy, Latin America (esp. Argentina), Poland, Australia and New Zealand.

Mogwadiri is primarily geared to cater for the needs of overseas hunters who share a most heartfelt love for natural, undisturbed open spaces, wildlife, starry skies at night and a companionship that can bridge cultural differences around a crackling fire at night.

Depending on the number of hunters per group, the hunting experience rests solely with Nicolaas and his team of professional hunters.

Nicolaas, having a profound love for and amazing understanding of the African bush and its wildlife, emanates a spirit of hunting professionalism, knowledge and know-how that cannot but ensure a visiting hunter of obtaining the best possible trophies during his or her hunting trip in Namibia. This in itself will indeed create a desire to return to Mogwadiri Hunting Safaris at a later stage, simply because such an experience warrants repetition.

In pursuit of different species of game, hunting can be done in various locations in Namibia covering an approximate area of 60 000 hectares!
